EMWIN Software

Radio and satellite broadcasts are two methods used by the NWS and others for disseminating the EMWIN datastream. To receive this data, hardware and software is needed. To receive data via EMWIN, be aware that you need to:

·        Be in an area with an EMWIN radio broadcast, or

·        Have a satellite downlink, or

·        Be connected to the Internet

 Note: Commercial software is available for most versions of Windows.
